annual backpack drive
august 7 & 8 School is just around the corner, which means it’s time for our Annual Backpack Drive. On the weekend of August 7 & 8, bring new empty backpacks and school supplies to Central for at-risk children. This year we’re partnering with Hope Link and another way to participate is to volunteer to be a part of the team that sorts and loads supplies for delivery to Hope Link or Central’s stuffing team at the Hope Link location. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the Next Steps booth in the lobby after any weekend service. You can pick up a supply list at Information Central or check this weekend’s programs. |

we'll see you in september We’re taking a break from First Wednesdays in August, but we’ll be back to kick it off in September. Remember, Weekends on Wednesdays is still be happening! If you or someone you know is unable to attend Central on a weekend, give Weekends on Wednesdays a try! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Henderson Campus. We’ll see you there! |
