Q: What are your hours?
A: The church building is open two hours before and after services on Saturday evening and on Sundays. We're also open during the regular business hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and for scheduled events during the week. If you have a crisis and need to reach us after hours, you may call our emergency phone at 702-406-6945.
Q: What type of attire can I expect to see at Central?
A: Central is a "Come as you are" kind of church. You'll find a warm, casual and welcoming environment where an array of dress styles can be found. We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear and focus instead on the message of Christ's love for you.
Q: Do you have services for my children and teens?
A: Children and students best learn spiritual truth in ways appropriate and relevant to their age and stage in life. We design services for all age groups, from birth through High School, simultaneous to each of our weekend and Wednesday evening services. For more information, please click on Preschool, Elementary, Jr High, or High School.
Q: Is there a place where I can take my fussy or nursing baby during service?
A: If your child is having a difficult time separating from you or if you're just more comfortable keeping him or her with you, please feel free to participate in service from one of our three Family Rooms. On the first floor, the Family Room is located in room 112 in the northwest corner of our campus. On the second floor, one Family Room is located on the south side of the building in room 282 and the other on the opposite or north side of the building in room 229. Please don't hesitate to ask any one of our greeters, identified by their badges, to direct you to a Family Room. We also have a nursing mother's lounge in the first floor ladies restroom on the south side of the building.
Q: Is there a pastor or counselor I can talk to?
A: Whether you have a one-time need or are looking for ongoing counseling, Central is here to help. We always have a Pastor-On-Call available to advise and listen. We can also refer professional counselors if desired. Please click on Counseling to learn more. If you have an after hours crisis, please call our emergency phone at 702-406-6945.
Q: Do you provide accommodations for those with special needs or disabilities during service?
A: Handicapped seating is available in our auditorium. For specific locations, please ask our greeters as you enter the auditorium. For our hearing impaired guests, listening devices are available at Information Central, located in the south lobby near the Stufflebeam entrance. Sign language interpretation is offered at our 11:45 am Sunday service. Please meet at the rear of the auditorium on the south side.
Q: How can I get to know other people at Central?
A: While Central may look like a crowd at first glance, we're really a church of Small Groups. The best way to get to know others is to find your niche and spend time with them. We have a wide variety of ways you can do that based on your own personal needs and interests. We offer courses, classes, and seminars of all sorts, as well as Small Groups for every age and season of life.
